I recently purchased two used Extreme Networks ERS 3626GTS-PWR+ switches for my home lab. Both switches are working well, but they are currently running an older software release.
I am looking for the following firmware:
Software: 6.2.1.015
Boot firmware: 6.0.0.3
I have already contacted Extreme Networks, but since the switches were purchased second-hand, I cannot access the support portal without an active support contract or registration through an authorized reseller.
These switches are only being used privately in my home network as hobby equipment, so purchasing a full commercial support contract is unfortunately not realistic.
Does anyone know of a legitimate way to obtain this release, perhaps through an older support archive, reseller, former Avaya/Nortel support channel, or another approved method?
I am not looking for modified firmware or anything unofficial. I only need the original ers3600_658007s.img image, or guidance on how a private owner of used hardware may obtain it.
