Hi,

I am looking to mount maybe 4x Supremicro X9DRD ee-atx motherboards in a rack.

Whilst the boards and cpus can be quite cheap, bying a case and having it shipped to me is around 1k just for the shipping.

I have a dell half rack I will install them in to and so am looking for any custom (home made) solutions or cheap multi motherboard offerings out there.

At worst I will mount with lond standoffs one above the other and then find some way of mounting the fans (whilst controlling airflow), PSU's and drives.

Any better ideas ?.

Thanks.

Blade orientation would allow better access if maintenance is required. | | | |

Top and bottom could be sheets of plywood with a simple groove cut into them with a skill saw or table saw.
