With your $500 budget,
you should be able to find a nice SuperMicro chassis, dual SMcpu board, even couple of E5 cpu and ram.

Ebay search a complete SM system.

PS. I mean E5 v1 or v2 system

I did a search this weekend and today for the same, but nothing that does (4u) 15+ drives under 400 and would fit this MB. I would like to be able to keep this in a rack, but if I can save money, I have no issue with going to a tower type, but it needs to be able to fit 9 drives ( I am using Icy Dock 5 bays)
