I am putting this in the AI forum because I think that is mostly what the GB10 boxes are being used for.

There is a recent challenge that we ran into with the latest Lenovo ThinkStation PGX Firmware update. If you update the firmware headless using fwupdmgr, the update fails and the node hangs requiring a hard power cycle.Lenovo ThinkStation PGX Firmware Update Issue.jpg
If you have not changed the Restore on AC Power Loss behavior to Auto Boot, then the node will just stay stuck and it will sit offline.

The fix, per the NVIDIA forums, is to hook up a HDMI monitor and then do the update. I confirmed using a GL.iNet Comet that using the remote KVM setup worked as well.

This was the only model we saw fail this update, but both units failed. I wanted to share just in the event anyone else runs into it. I also shared the issue with Lenovo so hopefully it gets fixed.
