Isn't this a bit late to come out with? Intel's new generation of dual socket Xeons are about to be released in the next few months.

Dell's T7910 has been around for a close to 3 years with very similar specs, but it has 12Gbit SAS on the motherboard, and with the PCIe card option you can put 4 M.2 NVMe (all be it 2280 max size (means typically no PLP)). Dell's system also has dual Intel NICs (though a 210 and 217, but this model was released nearly 3 years ago). It also has 4 hotswap 3.5" drive bays (SAS), and the 5.25" bay has an optional 4 x 2.5" hotswap module (also SAS). You can run all these drives together (for a while I had a Samsung 950 Pro, Samsung 840 EVO 2.5", and 4 x 8TB WD REDs in my T7910).

@Dev_Mgr We still have 1-2 E5 V3/ V4 reviews that we were requested to do. This is not a new release from Lenovo, just something we were asked if we wanted to review (and said yes.)
