I was able to configure a P920 WS with dual xeon Gold 6246 and tTB ram and two GV100 , 4TB of m2 ssd and a few more odd ends for about $30K total (with THINKBIGSALE coupon and student discount) .
Hmm, this.... or a new car or a new house downpayment....lol...

of the three the house makes the most sense -- get the house -- get some equity and then drool over these like the rest of us ;-)

those threadripper pro chips -- how long until some boutique reseller lets us get our hands on them? Will they be compatible with mainstream consumer BIOSes?
