Hi all! I've just released "zedk", a suite of useful UEFI tools.

zedk allows you to enter a more capable UEFI "BIOS" Setup, unlocking hidden "advanced" settings for several Lenovo Tiny machines, such as M920q/M920x/P330 as well as M625q.

zedk also comes with a simple script to enable a remote console over the serial port without having to change BIOS settings. zedk also works on M625q, which doesn't have such settings at all. Serial console support can be quite useful in combination with the Setup application or to diagnose iPXE booting issues, etc.

Please let me know if it works for you, and especially how it works on other systems than the ones listed above!

Would this potentially allow for unlocking undervolting options on the P340 Tiny? Also would there be the possibility of enabling Above 4G Decoding and Resizable BAR?

Last question, is this relatively safe or could the machine end up a paper weight?

Thanks in advance!

P340 Tiny: You'd have to try it out. "Above 4G Decoding" may or may not be in the "PCI Subsystem Settings". I don't know if P340 tiny has the "AmiSetupFormSetVar" variable, which unlocks the advanced settings on P330 Tiny et al. It may have been renamed (would need an IFR dump of the BIOS to verify).

Safety: Quite safe to start and look around. Of course no warranty if you manage to misconfigure any advanced parameters. Your device should have a "Clear CMOS" jumper if all goes bad.

Thanks, I will give it a go on some machines that I have. Gone are the days of advanced bios options being available with a few magic key presses, very sad times. Pretty sure I have a P330 laying around so I will give it ago on that as it would be great to have a undervolt set in the bios.

I also have a m75q gen 1 and gen 2 to try, when I get chance I will give you some feedback on what works and such. Would you like a message here or on the GitHub repo?

Has anyone tried an RTX 3060 12gb LP in any of the Tiny's. Ive had mixed results between my RTX A1000 8gb, RTX 3050 6gb, RX6400 4gb between my M720Q, P340 and P360 and before dropping $450 on one I just wanted to see if anyone has tried it...or should I be the guinea pig?

Edited to add info:
- 70 Watts TDP, bus-powered
- Single slot, 6.61" 2.71" 0.63"
- DLSS Support: Built on the 8 nm process, and based on the GA106

I got an AOC-S25G-i2S and it worked out of the box with my 10GTek DAC, however it did not support ASPM as someone else suspected. I flashed the latest Intel firmware on it. The updater said it was successful, but now the system won't POST with that card installed. It seems like the same issue some users have reported with certain X710 cards. Not entirely sure what to do with it now...

Try physically removing the power cable, mashing the power button a couple times, then plugging it back in. I’ve had that issue when updating firmware on some other cards.

No luck :( My current plan when I get some time is to put the card in a different computer that might be less temperamental, let it boot up there, and then try putting it back in the P350. If that doesn't work then I'll see if I can figure out how to re-apply the firmware backup and just deal with no ASPM.

I swapped the card into my Supermicro server and it booted up just fine there on the Intel firmware, but no ASPM. I flashed the Supermicro firmware and no issues there, but alas still no ASPM. Aside from the lack of ASPM, the AOC-S25G-i2S works in my P350 Tiny with the Supermicro 9.53 firmware. It seems these systems are really picky about what firmware they'll boot with, so definitely be careful about firmware flashing if you don't have another system available to swap a card into. I'm just going to use it like this and cross my fingers the card doesn't overheat without ASPM, since I'm not keen on spending 3x as much on more Silicom cards.

Does the p330 come with the 65w cooper heatsink by default, or is there a possibility that I can also get an aluminum heatsink when buying a barebone p330? Also does anyone know where to buy a p330 in Germany, or even has one for sale?

I have one for sale in the UK, it has the copper heatsink and 65w fan, i5 35w (ether a 9600t or 9500t) CPU, riser card, Nvidia t600 with correct bezel and a brand new 135w PSU from Lenovo. Also has both WiFi antennas. Feel free to send me a message if you are interested, happy to sell it bare ones if you have your own stuff

When I purchased my first p330 it came with all aluminium heatsink, I ended up buying a brand new copper one with fan directly from Lenovo a while back because I couldn't find a second hand one.
