Thanks again for the suggestions! I tried creating a bootable USB with both Windows and Ubuntu, but when I select the USB drive to boot from, the system freezes right at the start. This happens only when the GPU is installed.

Interestingly, there are no issues when I’m in the BIOS—I can navigate through the settings without any problems. But as soon as I try to boot into an OS (either from the NVMe SSD or a bootable USB), it gets stuck.

As for the power supply, I’ve tested the system with a SATA SSD instead of the NVMe, and it works perfectly fine, even under load while playing games. So power draw doesn’t seem to be the problem. but anyhow I’ll try a different power supply if I can get my hands on one.

hmm that is a very odd situation. Which CPU do you have in your system? If you would like to post images of your bios settings I could take a look at those and make sure there isn't anything different to mine if you like?

Is it possible the windows install is in CSM/BIOS mode and the T1000 forces UEFI boot or vice versa?

Can you try another NVMe, but install windows with the T1000 in the system to get correct boot config?

Or choose Legacy only boot if possible, or UEFI only.

Thanks for the suggestion! I have installed Windows in UEFI mode, so there shouldn't be a conflict with CSM/BIOS mode. I’ll definitely try another NVMe SSD and see if that makes a difference. I’ll update once I test it out!

It has Core i5 8500T

I have the same settings that you have there, not sure about some of the other options in other areas. Seems unlikely that an issue is in bios settings though as many people have had a T1000 running perfectly fine in a P330.

Worst case scenario it could be a dodgy board or CPU (my logic being there some issue in regards to pice lanes), Definitely worth trying another NVMe though to rule that out.

Where are you based? If you are in the UK I could send you a different CPU to try if you can not get it sorted.

I really appreciate the offer! I’ve already ordered another NVMe and am waiting for it to arrive. Once I test it, I’ll update here with the results.

I’m based in Asia, India to be specific, so unfortunately, trying another CPU from you wouldn’t be feasible. But thanks a lot for the support!:) Hopefully, the new NVMe helps narrow down the issue.

Yeah probably not, not even sure it would be worth the ship cost. post a update when you've got your new drive.

I'm sorry if this was already covered in the comments, I did not read all 120 pages of them! The doc states that some of the Lenovo M<x>0q systems support up to 128gb of RAM but that the maximum RAM was set to 64gb because 64gb sodimms were not sourced easily back in 2021. It looks like I can get 2x64GB kits on Amazon. Can the doc be updated to reflect this or are these considered unusable for some reason?

That is DDR5 which many devices do not support. 12th Gen processors for intel was the first to support DDr5 if i recall


you need something more like below but i do not know if 128 will work consistantly

I assume you're using an official (or knockoff) lenovo riser, and not just a generic one? The motherboard slots are not pure pcie, so it takes a little magic.

All of my TinyMinis are 12th gen or better and all support and are actively running the 2x32gb crucial kits I linked. I am too much of a puss to order it and try but if people aren't sure, I can make myself the test dummy. I mostly want to make sure there's not something obvious I am missing that would prevent hem from qualifying under that 2x64gb statement in the original post.

I got the new NVMe drive and tested it, but unfortunately, the issue remains the same—still stuck at the Windows loading screen and doesn’t go any further.
However, when I connected a SATA SSD, the system booted fine with the GPU installed, and the NVMe drive even showed up in File Explorer, meaning it’s being detected properly.
So it seems like the system recognizes the NVMe drive but just refuses to boot from it when the GPU is installed.

I bought the riser from eBay, and I've attached the pictures
Are there specific requirements for the riser to work properly with the P330 Tiny? If there’s something specific I should look for in a riser, I’d really appreciate the guidance!

One of my riser cards is the exact same one that you have so that should not be the issue. There is not much else you can try really as you don't know which component is at fault. Hopeful someone here might have some more ideas.
