Large drives in a Dell R7920

I had my media server go down on me and until I can replace the motherboard, I am going to move the drives over to my Dell R7920.
This work station has a pair of Gold 5120's, 128 gigs of ram and an nvida 12 gig A2000. What I need to know is if the rackmount Dell R7920
will work with large drives. Some of these drives are 16TB in size. These drives will not be any raid config.
Please Advise.

I believe the R7920 should be able to handle 16TB drives, but it will depend on the drive controller/backplane setup. If you’re not running RAID, I’d double-check what controller is installed and whether it supports drives that size.
