I'm looking for SSD recommendations for larger capacities - in the 1-2 TB. 960s would be okay too. It's for my video files when Im working with them - cutting, transcoding etc. Not for long term storage. Prices on the Intel enterprise drives seem to have gone up lately. I was looking at some of the Micron, Samsung, and Sandisk enterprise offerings on Ebay. Anyway recommendations welcome.

Do You think these will have those weird firmware issues Craig is having with his drives or other potential Issues and Given they say Sun Oracle?
I would say probably fine as a stand alone drive direct attach, if your trying to use fancy backplanes and do things less than boring then getting something supportable and firmware updatable would probably be smart.

@MiniKnight these Intel DC P3600 are "Seller refurbished" I wonder how much real life is left in them. The 1.6TB model has endurance 8.7 PTW so it's not low, but no idea how these were used.

Being Sun maybe exadata or something that could have thrashed them a bit... but never can tell, could have been barely used capacity tier in a system

Intel S3610 Series 1.6TB SSDSC2BX016T4K SATA III 2.5" SSD MFG WRY 2020 | eBay

Around $600 for a 1.6TB DC S3610. Performance should be good (400MB/s sequential write, a bit faster on reads) and endurance should be good as well.

Not sure if this meets your budget or performance needs.

For more performance, DC P3605 1.6TB (varies from $700 - $1000 ea typically). For lower price... I dunno, nothing I can recommend offhand.
