I just finished my JBOD:
  • Chassis: SC743T-500B
  • Board: CSE-PTJBOD-CB3
  • Backplane: CSE-SAS-743TQ
I got the chassis used for €99.00. It works great, fits 8x SSD + 8x 3,5 HDD.

There is however one cable I don't understand.

It was connected to the chassis when I got it and has two pins/cables (red black).

I _assume_ this is grounding. But why two cables? Also, I do not see where to attach it to the CB3.

The CB3 manual does not mention grounding.

The Control Panel Connector: JF1 (Number 8 in the manual) has two free pins (the outer left ones) - is this perhaps the grounding?

[Edit]
I think I was looking at the manual the wrong direction. It seems

Perhaps Pin 20/19 are on the left side. NMI (Non-Maskable-Interrupt) should be the red cable and Ground should be black - correct? See answer below

Chassis intrusion switch. It doesn't look like the JBOD controller has a connector for it and that's fine. On many motherboards when connected it shows an alert in the IPMI/event logging to let you know someone was in the chassis.
