So recently got 1gbit fiber installed and thought i'd dip my toes into multigig and also get a proper firewall and set up wan failover, and happened to come over a cheap(?) usg-xg-8 locally(500$) so bought it not knowing too much about it except it was expensive new and beeing overkill for my use, alsoknowing i'd need 10g rj45 transcievers to hook up my nas/servers since they mostly have rj45 nics.
my worry is its discontinued and theres very little discussion about it probabaly because of the new price. original plan was pfsense but happened to come over this and seems like it can do what i want.
