Um ... you may want to specify the chassis used.
In your previous post it was a 1U.
If that is still the case you are using, it will barely fit - as in may touch top of case.
As referenced in another post (FCPGA 1667 heatsink thread) - you want the "57A4L" for a 1u case.
The "57" is in the middle ... the "54" is on the left .. you can see the height difference.

I didn't feel so good about removing the backplate, and I didn't want to be That Guy
that destroyed a motherboard trying to do it.
I ended up just swapping the screws off the original heatsink.

Those screw retaining rings are optional. This was much easier and safer to me and didn't even require me to remove the motherboard from the chassis.
