ERR_SOCKET_NOT_CONNECTED when trying to go to Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more

Either you have a highjacker or a bad cookie.

Go to settings, put amazon in the cookie search box, and clear all visible.

Then try again.
