Give it a few days for 13.10 to come out :) Seriously though, since I have been getting a lot of "rarer" hardware, it helps to have a single-step OS installation process.

Also - please do not underestimate how long it takes to install Ubuntu with an Atom S1260. As one may have seen in the main site post yesterday, the C2750 feels like a normal processor while the S1260 is rather slow.
What I am going to do, is get it to work with 13.04 Mini.iso - No packages installed by default..basically kernel + Grub. If it works there, it should always work. Thats what I did on CentOS, and why it has a longer install/update process.

This way it should work no matter how someone may have installed or messed with their Repos.

Why copy to the home directory? Why not copy to a tmp ramdisk directory?

You would make your life so much easier. Imagine this:
PXE boot live CD
Download script
Run through tests

Also as for feedback. I for one would like to see pts take out of the equation. Just do normal stream benchmark for example

Super! I can host. You can e-mail it to me if you want or I can download from a link.

Ran Dev003 and it worked. Patrick you should just add sudo to the first part. By the time the script hits the last bit you need to re-sudo so the test stops.

Same experience. Thanks nitrobass24! Working with saucy now.

The sudo thing is interesting since folks doing CentOS installs end up logging in as root on default installations.

Updated to STHbench-Dev003.sh which now appears to work across platforms. It also includes the sysbench and redis benchmarks.

Nice work! Saw the update this weekend. I e-mailed an E3-1220v3 output with Ubuntu to you.

Any update on a seige + nginx, varnish, memcached, mysql version?

Dev003 is the same. Had a question and was asked to clarify. The first post was updated with STHbench-Dev003.sh (same version from last week).

I think that is in their future version.

Mind sharing the results?

Hi rayt - How did the run go? As MiniKnight suggested, that functionality is something we are building.

Any chance you would be willing to share the output? The more files we can get the more samples we have to test with parsing logic as it is built.

Also, how do you like the UP E5-2687W? I am thinking of transitioning to something similar for my main desktop.
