Intel XL710-qda2 - $275 ea x4

Cheapest I've seen the current generation Intel cards. Intel XL710-QDA2 40GBE Ethernet card and they're even cheaper than the Chinese white label sites.

Oh, there the dual 40gb Ethernet cards.

I have not done the latency but power consumption/ heat: Intel Fortville - Lower Power Consumption and Heat

Note - Fortville did have a respin earlier this year from what I understand so our cards were pre-spin2.
