Some regular readers probably saw this on the RSS feed this morning. It has been a very busy week and I managed to hit publish instead of save draft. Apologies for that but expect single numbers next week and dual numbers the following.

Comparing the E3-12xx to the E56xx

I am looking forward to seeing what you think of the E5606 -- I was leaning toward a socket 1366 solution until I read your write-up on the E3-1230. Pretty impressive for under $250. I'd be interested to hear what you think E56xx vs. E3-12xx...

This site is freaky... I think of something one day, and the next day there's an article about it here... Happened 3 times in a row now! :)

Patrick can read minds :)
Only on Wednesday's :)

Actually I am going to post the dual E5606 review sometime next week, along with hopefully the Xeon E3-1280 (yes my credit card is hurting) and maybe even a Zacate review. Single E5606 review will be up the following week.

All I have to say is, the dual E5606 + Supermicro X8DTH-6F combination has been extremely stable thus far, and very easy to work with.
