With these TDP's ramping up i'm curious to see what kind of cooling and form factors will be offered. Even in a 1u the current 1500 65w TDP 16 core part can get toasty and the lack of low noise fans in those form factors is a bit of a concern.

Not much to see here really, likely the cost is similar to the standard intel scalable Xeon systems at the expense of PCIe slots and so on. Wait and see power consumption and cooling but this is sort of an anticlimactic launch of sorts, I guess also since we knew what to expect.
We all know TDP does not equal power but I am surprise TDP is so high. To be expected still using 14nm tech and not dropping to 10nm, wait for next gen ;)
