meant is RDIMM 8000Mt

a DDR5 8800 MRDIMM apparently can't just drop down to slower DDR5 8000 speeds.

sure. just use 2000 mem.clock instead 2200Mhz. i am sure MRDIMM has speed downgrade jedec profiles.
