Greetings,

I'm acquired a refurbished Dell R7910 with one socket E5-2650Lv4 and 128GB ram

Does anyone know if it is possible to do VROC NVMe raid 0 with 4 x SK Hynix PE3110 on asus hyper m.2 x16 card?

Any input is most appreciated!

Thanks in advance

The VROC that you want, and the HW keys are Skylake.

What @Patrick is saying is that VROC only works on Xeon Scalable Processors. They are named as Xeon Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. The Xeon E(x) CPUs do not support VROC.

I also think for the vroc to work you need to connect them to specific ports. you can't use M.2 cards into the PCI-e slots.
You Might be able to use Intel-RSTe if you are not planning on booting on the M.2 Cards.

Thanks Guys, I was hoping to use the hyper card on RAID 0 for ESXi datastore - looks like this will not be possible
