Dual Node 1U system. Like the C6100 except in 1U form. No CPU/RAM but great alternative if limited to 1U of space. These also have 18 RAM slots per node instead of the 12 for the C6100 so you can fill it with 4GB sticks and still get 72GB / node.

I run a pair of these and seriously considering adding some more.

What are the noise levels on this like? Suitable for Home/SoHo?

Nice find. Cheaper than buying 2 motherboards and you get a shared PSU.

Guessing it would be loud with 4 processors in a 1U.

Do these have IPMI?

The models I have are non-standard as they were modified by a hardware company, they run really quiet at the expense of higher temps. I honestly don't know how loud these run stock. But I wouldn't get a 1U for home use in any case (memories of the Dell PE 1750).

They have IPMI which is shared with the on-board nic.
