Hi guys,

So I've been working with this seller to buy some ssd's and a barebones they had. I just got word they have over 1000pcs, and the drives vary between 300GB to 30TB of writes. They were pulled from a datacenter environment with roughly 3000-8000 hours of power-on time. Drives are rated for 8PB, or 10DWPD, so they definitely have quite a bit of life left. Good modern alternative to the HGST SAS drives, and you get Warranty!!!

Intel S3710 400GB DC SSD SSDSC2BA400G4 SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5" Warranty Until 2020

I picked up 18 of them for about $200.00 each. I think he'll accept offers above $200. I tried doing $175 for x32, but he didn't budge.

EDIT: Looks there's a bunch of these from the same batch floating around. Another seller seems to have gotten their hands on 500 of them, willing to take 33x for $165 each.

Dell R730XD Intel DC S3710 MLC 400GB SSD 2.5 6Gb/s SATA III Wrnty AUG 2020

Good luck!

I'll take a DC over a consumer drive any day. 50 cents per GB is pretty darn good for this drive.
