Intel RS3DC080 --> LSI 93XX-8i?

Hi,

A few noobie questions.

1. What is the LSI equivalent to the Intel RS3DC080? Is it the LSI 9361-8i?
2. What are the practical differences in use (if any)?
3. How do I get the card to work with the MegaRaid Storage Manager -- do I need to cross flash it?

Probably too many questions for one post -- but my brain is also struggling with the "MODES" people refer to - IT Mode/IR Mode --- what the heck does it all mean?

All I want is a superfast Raid 0 SSD setup (bootable) on one channel and a fast-ish Raid 5 6TB x 4 drive setup on the other -- for use in a server data management environment.

I recommend doing some research on firmware versions for the card and be prepared to upgrade/downgrade. Some of these cards have wonky issues where certain firmware versions work with certain hardware while others don't etc. Very sweet card though, should be fast as heck, also make sure you have adequate cooling/airflow over it
