Good Monday everyone,
I have a new Intel P4000M series chassis that has the 5 fan divider. I am looking for the 2 fan divider. I am willing to pay $50 for the 2 fan divider and send the 5 fan divider (will have the hotswap fans) back. If I need to sweeten the deal, I will include an Intel FUP8x25HSDK (also new)

Is this swap in an effort to reduce the noise?

I have a P4000L with 5xhot swap fans. I'm using BIOS settings (can't remember of the top of my head) that auto adjusts the fans. Some time even turns off couple of them and othertimes revs up depending on the need.
It's not silent but quiet enough during idle. It's located away from living space so that helps too.

What power supplies are you using? Mine came with 1600w and they were screamers. Switched to 750W and which are much quieter too.
