Are the I/O plates in these replaceable, do they fit other standard E-ATX motherboards, and are there any gotchas with using P4000 chassis such as P4216, P4208, or P4308?

Thanks.

I own one and im pretty sure they just take different io shields. Im not to sure about the mobo's though. I think the wr2600cr is just a standard form factor so it would be fine fitting something of the same size but I have no idea if you can add any standoffs to support other mobo's.

I/O shield is standard, front panel connector is not. you will have to modify/make a breakout cable to hook to another motherboard.

Fan connections?
fans might plug in to standard headers (even though they are 6-pin), but it they don't they are all standard sizes and easy to swap out. Might need to anyways because the leads are short because of the placement of the headers on the intel boards.

Also the 6-pin may be for the redundant fan setup I think my 2x120mm setup is both 4-pin

Bah.

I mean I would just use the chassis as is with Intel boards if there wasn't a PCIe fiasco.
