This looks like a good deal: Intel P3600 2TB ebay uk , considering the P3605 1.6TB that I see recommended around here is cheapest at 350$.
What's the catch though? Firmware issues? Low life left?

They don't seem a vendor with a lot of high quality stock, that would be my initial observation / worry.

I'm curious about the firmware on the Intel P3605. I just had a shipment that I got really cheap arrive today. I'm curious whether to leave them on the stock Oracle firmware, or if there's any benefit in flashing them to P3600 firmware and converting them into "real" Intel SSD's. Nothing can possibly go wrong, right?
