The eBay listing is for U.2 Intel Optane P4800X drives despite there being no picture. There are 10 available. The price is $200 but the seller has a $40 off coupon (automatically applied at checkout) that will work even if you buy multiple units. There's also a Klarna promotion for $10 off, but that's probably not something most people would care about.

These usually sell for around $270, and even $250 doesn't show up that often.

I've got all the U.2 Optanes I need, so have at it.

Are you sure they are U.2? The part number seems to be HHHL PCIe

I searched for the part number in the title and it seemed to be a U.2, but I could be wrong.

Somebody snapped them all up. If they really were 750GB, even the AIC would be a good deal at that price.

I received mine today and they are AIC and not U.2. Also FYI is anyone else ordered any they are not "new factory sealed" like listed.

Yeah that was my thought as well. I sent the seller some pics and informed him they are used and not new based on the usage. He appreciated it and said he was going to reach out to the supplier. At $170 each since they had such low use I have no complaints.

This business became a margins only business. Seller often no longer has the items in their hand ever.

bought 4, and they all came sealed in what looks like a factory box. I havent opened them up as yet.

EDIT: opened one and it looks brand new.

That's exactly how mine looked, Look at the drives usage and let us all know if yours are similar to mine.
Loaded all 4 on my test EPYC server and they all seem to be brand new - 2 power on times and 0 hours. 0 Bytes written.
Trying to get Intel MAS tool working on this server just to verify if there are and firmware updates required.

That's good, hopefully others are as lucky. Mine don't have enough usage for me to worry about it.

There will be updates for sure, especially if they are new. I had to apply the latest firmware to mine as well.
