Isn't this one of the thing that would make sense to migrate to the on-demand service instead of requiring an actual physical Hardware key?

VROC is cool to have as another option, but in real-life its performance is lagging behind leading solutions like GRaid (SupremeRaid) and Xinnor

Hmm... I can Imagine that Intel back pedaled after partners like HPE, Dell etc complained about it.
But what does it mean for the future? Will Intel discontinue it after SR?
