Do you think $119 is a good price for these? Listing doesn't take offers
If you have use for it.
There isn't any cheaper alternative for 3.2TB NVME drive today.

I am a SSD hoarder , brought 8 Oracle F320 at $107 each.
My active tvshows media folder is around 4TB , 2 x 3.2TB NVME would be sufficient

Would be curious to see what the motherboard looks like! I think the reason those drives are cheap is that they immobilize a whole PCIe slot that could accept 2, 4 or even 8 (with a switch) u.2 drives.

In my case,
I use Dell optiplex SFF , either i5-10500 or I5-8500, you could fit a 80mm Fan in front panel .
Fan is only few inches away the NVME cooling the NVME effectively.

SFF has 1 x 16 slot , 1 x4 slot (open end) allow x8 or x16 cards to be inserted
Compact and cheap,

Currently, NVME per TB price is cheaper than SATA SSD.

You could also with some cheap-ish adapters connect just as many of these cards also in a single PCIe slot.
Just gets a bit more janky to stuff a bunch of cards nicely (and with ok airflow) into a case than u.2 drives.

I bought 5 to replace a 5 node C6220 Ceph cluster that was using 15x HGST 400GBs.
Hopefully they run fine and can last for a year or so until I can find a decently priced C6320/6400 for the U2 hotswappables.

Ebay seller were dumping Samsung Oracle F320 card last couple of months,

Couple months ago, F320 was as low as $105 each.
Current 1 listing for $119 each
Oracle 3.2TB V-NAND F320 NVMe Samsung MZPLK3T2HCJL-000U4 7317693 PM1725 | eBay

want to offer alternative .
Will the F320 be compatible with standard PCIe slots and general server systems, such as the Dell R740?
From my research, it seems there are no clear indications that it won't work on general systems, but I’m asking this question for confirmation.

Had some issues with HP parts that need extra adapters to get them to work.

I ended up switching a 16GB UDIMM to 32GB UDIMM to get back to 64GB RAM on the host and am using 3 out of 4 slots in this SFF Dell.

That is the only way this system will boot, even on a 16x slot. Waiting for a cheap 4x AIC 3.2TB HGST to arrive (from Israel) which hopefully will run directly without needing to buy a new RAM DIMM on the third host in the cluster. These 2 F320s are running fine otherwise with removing the 4th DIMM. Hoping to mess around with VSAN ESA if I can find a workaround for what I've read is 30GB of RAM used in 64GB hosts. That's a hard NOPE.
