I am cautiously optimistic about the performance of 7nm Ryzen. I expect (ok hope) for near IPC match with Intel, but at more core and less money. This is why Intel is trying to change focus to Chrome and word, which aren't nearly as multithreaded as more specialized tools. Well, guess what, Word is working just fine on much older CPUs. Intel still trying to play old marketing bs tricks

it's a compelling chip but I'd be surprised if it was a) generally available often enough to buy b) less than 750 USD and c) had a TDP less than 125W
