I saw an article on lilicomputing about the availability of the Intel Compute Sticks on NewEgg so had to get your inputs. It's another mini computer thingiee. Wonder how these compare to the Liva. Tech is definitely getting way small.

I may have gotten offered one for review for another site but I somewhat just want to buy one myself.

Very interesting concept notwithstanding that the contained Atom Z3735F has a sub-1000 passmark score (not that one benchmark can represent a processor's performance). For reference the Atom J2900 is over 2000 and the high-end processors are above 8000 these days.

It depends on how you view these things. Basically plug one into a TV or monitor and you are all set with a pretty minimal installation. I think of this type of appliance as a tool to provide a GUI rather than something most folks (on here) would want to use as a primary desktop.

@Chuckleb is probably right that it is a solid Liva competitor. I just wish it had a RJ45 port!

Thanks for the information Olivier.

This is sad news. I was looking forward to using these as essentially a mini blade system for a small compute cluster. The 10/100 Ethernet of the PI320 was what kept me from using that platform.
