I get this Linux boot-error on all my SuperMicro X11 boards (chipset C236)
Code:
[ +8.162342] intel_ish_ipc 0000:00:13.0: [ishtp-ish]: Timed out waiting for FW-initiated reset
[ +0.010041] intel_ish_ipc 0000:00:13.0: ISH: hw start failed.
The device is:
00:13.0 Non-VGA unclassified device: Intel Corporation 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family Integrated Sensor Hub (rev 31)

Everything seem to work fine (well, I don't know if I'm missing some monitoring/alarm/sensor functionality).

Tried to do a cold restart, also a cold restart on IPMI....didn't help.
IPMI senses working fine, but I'm guession IPMI isn't related to the C230 chipset anyway (?).

Gets the error on both Debian Buster (kernel 5.8.10-1) and openSUSE 15.2 (kernel 5.3.18).

Don't see this error on an Asus C232 board (doesn't seem to include this device at all when running lspci)

Do any of you also get this error on your C236 boards?

Yes I do, but I thought it was related to the Intel RAID/Chipset, guess I need to start looking around more...
