Neat. Wonder if we have to wonder if it's fake or not like other Intel stuff on ebay?

I have an official one which shipped with my official Optane SSD and can confirm that the item in the photos appears to be identical in all respects, including packaging, cable folding, wire lengths, and wire wrap. Still no guarantees, but yeah, this is very reliable looking.

Hmm, when I'm trying to go through with a purchase to Sweden it doesn't complain. Where are you located?

Would end up costing a bit more though...
In the Bundesrepublic of Deutschland! :D

Maybe I will hold off until I need it, I would like to have it as I think I will use it, but maybe I'll just wait. If it was $20 with shipping sure, but at double the price and maybe for 2 it becomes hard to swallow for the future upgrade that might not even materialise. Just got laid off so need to cool it with the spending.

If these are going to hit the used market en masse, you might just need to wait a bit and hopefully some will pop up that work for the logistics or are closer/local. :)

Note this is pcie 3.0 and wont work with PM1733 (Samsung PCIe 4.0 u.3 U.2 drive). Also be sure to check your slot exit as the cable isnt long enough to loop back around.

EDIT: I should say technically it may work if you have a pcie4 drive that presents as U.2. But the PM1733 seems to more picky about PCIe 4.0. You may need a "Tri-mode adapter" where the cable is smart to enumerate the connection. The drive does work with a slimsas adapter to the motherboard header.

EDIT2: Correction, my drive is a U.2 (with the label missing), and it still doesnt work with the adapter from ebay. This amazon item does work:

PCIe 4.0 M.2 to U.2 Adapter, M.2 to SFF-8639 U.2 NVMe SSD Cable with 15Pin Power, Left Exit, 1.6ft (50cm)

Didn't work with Samsung PM9A3 either. Had to get a M.2->U.2 cable specifically rated for PCIE 4.0.

these intel\oem ones were sold by intel for around this same price, new, or maybe 18.95 but either way, not exactly a 'great deal' unless these are suddenly hard to find or very expensive elsewhere
