Good Day,
I need to get the 1.2TB Version asap for an ESXi Server. I am not sure if I should get the PCIE Version or 2.5 inc version. I currently have 400GB PCIE and works wonders. Also should I go for 6*500GB SAMSUNG SSD in RAID10 instead?

What are the options for NVME cards I mean to connect the 2.5 drive.

Thank you

The 2.5" connection options depend on your motherboard... they make m.2 to 2.5" adapter plates/cable combos, Intel has kits for some of their chassis/motherboards. SuperMicro has an add in card with 2x connections on it.

The PCIE is easiest if you have enough room.

PS: Did you see someone else was having a problem with ESXI and Intel 750 -- are you having no problem passing it through, or are you not passing it through?

If you don't have a server with the U.2 connector for these, get the PCIe card version. You'll save time and money getting it working.

@alex1002 have you tried to pass-through the Intel 750?

It's detected fine in ESXI 6.0, and I've passed through P3600 and P3700 but the Intel 750 400GB ESXI allowed me to pass-through but it's not showing up in the Guest OS.
