Yet another stupid question: has anyone tried to install an Intel 10 GbE NIC in an HP Microserver (any version - e.g., N36L, N40L, N54L, Gen8 ...)?

Would prob need to be a newer one. Older ones would probably heat the heck out of the microserver

I have, but I realized I could either have it or my M1015 HBA- Plus outside of stuffing the thing full of SSD's- you will never see speeds fast enough off spindles to use the speed.
