i need to buy a supermicro Mini-tower SC721TQ-250B for a mini-itx board atom C2750 (superimicro).
now i use a chenbro sr30169 in similar board, which guarantees an air flow on the disks and passive cooler of board.

system are in my homelab in house

1) Are all disks sufficiently cooled in this mounting case?

2) does anyone use it and can tell me the noise levels? I noticed that it has only a 120x120 server pwm rear fan

someone uses this case?

Paul Braren did a lot of testing on systems using this chassis. You should check out his website or look him up on YouTube. I don't own one, but it's on my short list of small server chassis.

I have a few with Xeon-D boards in them - Pretty quiet, I hear more noise from the 4x 10T drives in a RAID chugging away during disk activity but quiet otherwise.

in the Case Chenbro SR30169 i put a
- Controlle Raid: ServerRaid M5014

and i put a fan (40x40) over heat sink. (and i need to modify the case laterally with some hole for fan air)

I will still need the fan for controller inside Mini-tower SC721TQ-250B (and modify the case?)
none have the same configuration??

tips?
(sorry for duble post in other section https://forums.servethehome.com/index.php?threads/controller-fan-or-not.26873/)
