I got one of these (the first), but I'm looking to upgrade it to a similar switch but with at least 2 25/10gb ports likely more. With 2 25gb ports linked to the server, it gives me 50gb, so plenty for the time to come, while the 10gb can be used to link downstream switches.

Maybe consider something like CRS504-4XQ-IN and use quadfurcation cables. (Also, do you really need 50G to your server?)

I don't need it if its expensive, but as prices have come down on 10gb equipment fast, and I recently got a couple of Intel E810-XXVDA2 NICs with dual ports. The 25gb was cheaper than the 710-DA2... I will link the 2 ports on the server for 20gb, which will be more than enough to serve my spinning rust.I saw that 16TB used server parts on ebay is comming down, where it will make sense to replace the storage in the server.
