Not heat issues with processors 65W and under, always stay 25c idle and 65c at full load on average. The problem is to find good low profile cpu cooler that can support +88W cpu, most of low profile cover up to 65W. Of-course I could replace the SFX psu with server psu and add extra 2 out take fans in the back to exhaust more heat but that would only work with mini-ITX mobos, the server psu is really long and will interfere with mobo..

What ever happened with this project? These look super cool but I didn't see @Patrick ever report back on his testing with these.

It is 100% DIY project, so you just get the lasercut files and instructions manual.

Great idea, but you should develop some more node designs, for example a storage node, network node, ...
With 3 types of nodes (compute, storage ans network), I think I would give a try
