I'm about to move to a new house. After 7 years of using my Verizon DSL modem/router I'm getting screwed and have to go with Comcast cable. I'll no longer be able to use my DSL router obviously. So I'm now in the market for a new one. Here's the catch: all my data related gizmos will be in a small room in the basement and I doubt I'll have decent wireless connectivity out in the yard. Right now I have this giant Hawking antenna mounted on the side of the house which gives me great coverage but none of the new routers appear to be compatible with it. Can I just get two wireless routers and make them have one SSID like schools have? I have found some that aren't too expensive and are DD-WRT compatible. Any other suggestions?
Thanks guys
