It might be some sort of sensor, that's what I thought, but I put a meter on it and there was continuity to ground

Machine is starting running, os installed, chipsets updated
SATA cable hack fixed and all fans installed and working. Octo fan header was not working because faulty usb cable... fixed Stock fan spoofers working on idrac and showing normal fan operation
5952 processors mocked up with EK water blocks. New water cooling fittings being figured out.
So I have been trying to figure out a name for the computer.
My previous computer with the Chinese mobo, Russian hack, and old xeon is "The Chinese Junk Yard Dog"
I am thinking this one is maybe "Operation Shoehorn"

Installed all the ram and processors. Cooling system finished.
Tried to start it up for the first time and it powers for 1 second and turns off.
I was VERY careful seating the processors and all the white ram slots are filled with matching 16gb sticks.

Are you familiar with Dell servers and workstations in general?
Often, after hardware changes, they reboot a few times when reconfiguring themselves.
Also, you have iDRAC running, haven't you? So it should show your HW components?
I pulled all the ram, except the a1 b1. how can I connect to idrac to see the error
your system was working before.
you don't need to iDrac.
connect to IDrac LAN port, it gets DHCP IP after a while AC plugged(2-3minutes)

CMOS battery is low.
first 1 and 2, they are only tilt protection.
then 3&4 alternately 360dregr. per stroke until the leaf spring touch the cooler (you feel the end of thread)
Do CPU slot 1 and CPU slot 2 have separate power connectors from the power supply (I would guess so)?
If yes, are they properly connected? And could you swap them for testing?
