Cannot you just "slide them in" to something like a Supermicro 01-sc81362-xx00c002 Bracket ?Yes inner rail is and they are marked "King Slide"

These outer rails are very thin. They do fit technically but I would not trust it staying there.Cannot you just "slide them in" to something like a Supermicro 01-sc81362-xx00c002 Bracket ?
Didn't you say it was inner Rail just before ? I'm getting confused like this ...These outer rails are very thin. They do fit technically but I would not trust it staying there.
Sorry ignore stupid me. The inner rails not compatible with anything Supermicro (outer) I have here. There is a big circular metal part sticking out the side.Didn't you say it was inner Rail just before ? I'm getting confused like this ...
But to be honest, if you have half the Load supported in the Front and half in the Back, it shouldn't be that Bad. It's a 1U server without a bunch of 3.5'' HDDs ...
What about the Supermicro bracket that I suggested and either a thin U-Profile / Flat Bar and a couple extra holes in the Chassis,so basically you'll slide it in that Supermicro Bracket and let it support 30-40% of the Weight ?Sorry ignore stupid me. If I was to just use the ears you'd need a very short rack.
That's an interesting idea, but I wouldn't bother.Cannot you just "slide them in" to something like a Supermicro 01-sc81362-xx00c002 Bracket ?
I don't have this motherboard but I would suggest giving the system a very, very long time to boot. 15-20m if possible. Some of these systems take a long time to become responsive.you got any suggestions to get anywhere with this server
Try different RAM. By default overclocking is enabled highest setting in BIOS.hello
my friend just got this server yesterday from this seller it come and we put ram in it 2 x 16gb either side basically we been trying to get into the openbmc with no luck and now trying to get display from vga port with no luck again seems the vga port just displays nothing bit confused how we manage this server at the moment seems we can't do anything
you got any suggestions to get anywhere with this server
the ram is 16gb 2Rx4 PC4 btw
Overclocking on a Server Motherboard, let alone an OEM oneTry different RAM. By default overclocking is enabled highest setting in BIOS.
4 Results on eBay (Brand is Chembro, NOT Kingslide though), all in Europe (France). Am I missing something ?That's an interesting idea, but I wouldn't bother.
Kingslide rails in my experience are extraordinarily unique on the inner rails - particularly on the case-specific mounting mechanisms, however they are extraordinarily generic on the outer rails. I have a few of these same hyve chassis on the easily found 3561-660PZZ0GM outer rail, the only modification needed is a pair of pliers to bend the rear retaining lip on the outer rail out of the way. This could be a problem for cases where the rackmounted equipment had no ears to limit further rearward movement, as then the equipment could continue sliding, but that's usually not a problem. All other function is fine.
Yes, I provided that one purposefully. Norco/Chenbro/Hyve are all vendors of the same style of whitebox chassis and generally something that fits one of them will fit most all of them. You do not need to be beholden to brand-name for kingslide either, I've seen their same rails under different branding at some cabinetry supply shops. The main concern when being particular about them is the retention latching mechanism. Are you sure the Part Number you gave is correct ?
Stick a network cable in the BMC network port and hook it up to a box that you can run wireshark on then power cycle the machine at the wall and capture all traffic it sends out on boot to a file that you can load into wireshark GUI and see what it sends on boot. Somewhere in that lot you'll likely find its current ip address. I doubt if the BMC depends on the server RAM to operate, they're usually self-contained.hello

What about the 2nd Part Number which is slightly different, would that also Fit you believe ?Yes, I provided that one purposefully. Or if he can stick a LiveUSB in the USB Port (Internally, via Header Adapter, since apparently the Rear USB Ports are either disabled or don't work) just boot that with a Cable plugged in the NIC (preferably both a RJ45 and a SFP+, never know about Driver SupportStick a network cable in the BMC network port and hook it up to a box that you can run wireshark on then power cycle the machine at the wall and capture all traffic it sends out on boot to a file that you can load into wireshark GUI and see what it sends on boot. 3561-660EPZZ0GM and 3561-660PZZ0GM both work with the pliers modification I mentioned. I have two of the "E"s in reserve actually. I do not know why there is that labeling distinction. I usually just search for 3561-660, sorry for the confusion! What about the 2nd Part Number which is slightly different, would that also Fit you believe ?
Thanks for the Clarification3561-660EPZZ0GM and 3561-660PZZ0GM both work with the pliers modification I mentioned. I have two of the "E"s in reserve actually. I do not know why there is that labeling distinction. I usually just search for 3561-660, sorry for the confusion!
You of all People are wondering about that ? Aren't you regularly receiving Pallets full of Servers anywaysFor those that did get your servers, how were they packed? one unit per box or multiple per box?
Wondering how big of a mountain i need to bring with me from the store as they arrive...
For pallets and large shipments sent "normally" all the delivery drivers in my area know what garage is used for deliveries and just put it there. You of all People are wondering about that ? Aren't you regularly receiving Pallets full of Servers anyways?
I'm surprised you see any Details at all.For pallets and large shipments sent "normally" all the delivery drivers in my area know what garage is used for deliveries and just put it there.
The ebay packages get sent as postnord to a small grocery store close to where i live, while im storing all the hardware 45min away close to work.
If its 2 per box i can fit one shipment of 8 in the car, if its 1 per box i need to bring a trailer.
Ebay is showing me 5 shipments for each order of 8, but not all are tracking and ebay shows max 5 (plus tends to mix up shipments to their hub and from their hub).
The shipping cost was also way lower than 8 regular "full size" servers tend to be.
It's quite common that it gets stuck there for a Week or so (it has already been 7 Days). We are preparing your package.
A shipping label was created. Estimated delivery date will be available once the package ships.
