Thanks. If I go with Xeon-D, I'll probably have to go with something larger for quietness, but these sure are attractive.@Logan with the single fans I have in these it's pretty loud, it was a bit quieter when I had dual fans in my old ones, definitely not quiet.
Clean and small, but how noisy is it?

You can post a WTB add in the For Sale forums right here but also troll ebay to see what you can find regularly.Thank you for the post, do you some recommendations/sites where I can get the used servers (I am thinking of 2 of them), with 64 GB to start with.
Guys please take Starwind conversation to another post. This is not a storage box in software, HCI is our foundation, there's much more capability and features above that in our stack as this is a full platform, much different than Starwind or any other HCI solution.
Wow ... so similar looking to the VMworld Lab Give-a-way a few years back.
I definitely like that Triplite Rack Enclosure.
I'm going to re-try Nutanix at some point.
My company looked like they were going to go with it but last minute opted not to for reasons
unknown to me.
If i can get some licenses, I want to try a PoC with XenDesktop.
CE is performance limited though, correct?
I love when folks make these claims, comedy at it's best. Let's tackle these shall we.The only "big" thing NTNX is adding to KVM is a very basic HTML5 GUI called "Prism". There's no deeply integrated Software-Defined Storage stack (think of VMware VSAN), there's no pro-active support (think of Nimble InfoSight), there's no hardware dedupe acceleration like SimpliVity has... What actually make you think of you having done anything "much different" from everybody else? Just curious
P.S. I absolutely love this one!
Dare2Compare Part 4 : HPE provides superior resiliency than Nutanix?
For a true PoC we can provide you gear. BTW, Citrix is probably our strongest Alliance Partner. You have the ultimate choice when it comes to XenDesktop, can run it on any of the four Hypervisors, pending requirements (like GPU) etc. We have a ton of customers choosing AHV for this use case as it's fully certified by Citrix and there is integration into provisioning..etc..plus no vTaxIf i can get some licenses, I want to try a PoC with XenDesktop.
