Hyper-v, Strange connectivity issue, any Ideas?

I have two VMs running on host machine, this occurs whether running individually or both running at same time. And am running in a highly secured environment, we could no longer use VMware.

Host: Windows 10 Enterprise.

Both seem to use same virtual connector, both are identically set up except different IPs, but are in same subnet.

Hyper-V Windows Server 2012R2

• IE can get to websites by IP and hostname, in host machines host file.
• Firefox and Chrome by host name only.
• On host machine I can ping and Tracert IP & Hostname both resolve.

Any ideas why IP does not work in FF and Chrome?

Hyper-v Windows Server 2016

• IE can get to websites by IP only (host name = unresolved host name)
• Firefox and Chrome can not reach sites at all ( unless proxy disabled which wont work because some external font, etc fail then)
• on host machine I can ping and Tracert IP & Hostname both resolve.

Any ideas why IP and Hostname does not work in FF and Chrome?
