I've finally got ASUS to give me a BIOS for the KGPE-D16 motherboard that enables SR-IOV to work with my I350 Quad NIC, and from what I can see it appears to be working, VF's are appearing inside of the guest OS and HyperV Manager report SR-IOV as active. However, how can I confirm? Inside the guest OS I still see the old Microsoft HyperV Network adapter residing next to a new Virtual function adapter, but the new NIC doesn't show up in the list of network connections.
The latest Intel PRO drivers are loaded inside the VM, and this gives a lot of settings from the device properties window (jumbo frames etc.), however, I can't seem to make the device show up as a network connection.
Am I missing something, or is old HyperV network adapter actually the new VF?
