I just checked the link from post#167, the shared .iso is the same as the one below in red. and I am able to download it without any issues with my free registered account. Find the .exe file from within the .iso and extract the .flash file which can be used to flash directly in iLO.

Yes you have to use that flash utility it seems in order to flash the USB drive. I tried a bunch of others and ran into problems until I used the one that came with the patch.

Dang the Samsung DDR4 16GB 2133MH sold out on Amazon! I was about to buy two more sticks but only one was available! I had to buy the 32GB stick. Thats ok. I eventually want to upgrade all 4 to 64GB anyways. But if you need memory for these things you better grab them fast!

Hi all, does anyone happen to have a version with hard drive brackets? If so, mind taking some high-quality photos? I have one without the brackets and am working on a piece for Monday morning. Happy to give a shout out in the article/ video.

So regarding the brackets.
The space inside is so tight when you have two drives in it. That I think you could just put some thin rubber strips on the sides and under the drives on the three “tracks” where bracket would screw into. Could be those rubber windows sealing strips.
Seems like that would hold the drives enough, if the box isn’t thrown around. It’s not like people will be moving it around while running anyway.
I won’t be home with my EC200a for a few days, so I could show what I mean with pictures.

my systems arrive Monday so will see soon enough.

Please
Could someone post the hard drive temperature inside the HP case?

I do not dare to run internal HD due to concern of high temp.

thanks

Thank you.
I am looking for Hard Drive temp, there is only a tiny 40mm fan to cool the system.
I am afraid to run hard drive inside the small case.

What sort of memtest86 speeds are you getting for memory access? I bought one of these and it seems really slow accessing memory.
Are my number comparable to what others are seeing?
Memtest86 V8.4 Pro

DDR4 2400Mhz ECC RAM
Xeon D-1518
Clk: 2195Mhz
L1 Cache: 39.36 GB/s
L2 Cache: 12.04 GB/s
L3 Cache: 9057 MB/s
Memory: 6305 MB/s

For example, that is WAY slower than an E3-1240LV3: the E3-1240LV3@ 2000Mhz, can access memory at 14.24GB/s (DDR3 1600Mhz ECC RAM).

Just bought one to replace my Gen8 Microserver, a little less power consumption and it fits in my rack! :)

EDIT: just ordered 2x HP 759934-B21 (8GB ECC RDIMM) hope they'll work.
