Used and I dont know how much hours or bytes it had.
Price for new consumer grade TLC is around $105/Tb. So close.

WD Blue 1 TB 120 USD
WD Blue 2 TB 115 USD/TB

So I think, that the numbers are just right. 1 TB around 100 USD.

It is great price for ssd of this size but I am sure average person will not spend 1300 per drive. It seems ssd draw more power that regular drive. I at least untill ssd come down in price I will buy spinning rust. If I spend 2600 for two ssd I get 15TB mirrored for that amount of money I 13 x12tb I would love to have 24 of 15tb in my netapp storage shelf that would be 30000 + for ssd I saw some 6.tb accelerato card for 200

I am looking to move to all flash but staying with 4TB drives. That should give me a decent price and power ratio.

How many people trust running HPE devices who do not have access to a HPE support contract?

For me only when the price of SSD per TB becomes similar to spinners I will consider my array to SSD. I see tons of benefit from power savings, less failure rate and much2 more performance compared to spinners. For now, I still think for bulk storage that get access every now and then you can't beat the spinners pricing.

I think, that in few years will be flash a cheaper option than HDD...

Look on this graph - it's 5 year old, and the price in 2020 is just right for SSD:

I would really like to see this same data graphed where the x-axis is linear vs log so you can really see the curves on the respective storage prices. That would tell us a lot more.

What amazes me about the 16gb ssds is the form factor--2.5" Look how long it took to get that packed into a 3.5" hard drive. As far as areal densities, ssds are already winning out.

Seagate had 3.5" 60tb ssd back in 2016, nimbus data has a 3.5" 100tb model since 2018.
(Filling the 60tb drive with a sas3 link (12GBit/s) would take ~17hours :D)

Tempting.. but then i read it's TLC & only 1 DWPD

You mean HPE ssd have known compatibilty issues with other brand?
Think just referring to firmware updates. Never had an issue with HPE drives in white box systems, but firmware update I usually would do on a HP box
