Ok gather round nerds! I'd like to submit my application for peak tism.
With the help of some forum posts to figure out the power pinout for the backplane and a 3d printed shroud to mount cooling fans, I have connected this tidy little package to my LSI HBA and now have 8 additional 2.5 bays!
Only someone truly special would spend the time and energy I have to make this happen; but I figured some of you here might at least understand haha.
I modeled the back of the case and then printed an enclosure to draw air through using 2 press fit 60mm case fans
