Almost every 82571 card should have built in drivers on recent versions of windows, its been around awhile.

Intel generic drivers should work as well.

Thanks, turns out my Intel i5-2500k / DP67BG Motherboard just will not work in any slot with the NC364T NIC. I even tried moving my video card around and ensuring it was just in x8 mode. It works great and Windows 8 auto detects like you said in a different AMD system.

Not sure if I should buy different Intel Server NIC from Ebay or if its time to upgrade the whole system to a Asus workstation motherboard and newer CPU.
