HP NC364T 4x 1GbE Intel 82571EB NIC

These haven't been discussed in awhile but they're $50 with prime

Does anyone have insights as to when the Intel 82571EB will stop seeing software support? I don't want to get a HP NC364T and then see that CentOS 7.5 or VMware 7 doesn't support it.

I have no particular insight, but given the installed based, it'll be a long, long time (if ever) before the linux kernel drops drops support for those intel nics.

I think @gzorn may be right. You can also get i340/i350 NICs fairly inexpensively if you are really worried
