Nope, they aren't compatible with regular PCIe slots. More importantly (warning!) booting with one in a regular PCIe slot may fry the PCIe port and/or the motherboard. There's a thread about it somewhere here.

fyi josiah , you can edit your opening post (OP) (click that edit button/link) , so you type at the top it something like- disregard this deal or NOT for pcie.

(or im sure a mod may remove thread)

Here's the thread about some unfortunate experimentation with mezzanine pcie cards:

There was conflicting info, especially about the fact that the mezzanine cards are pcie. What wasn't communicated clearly was, their pinout isn't compatible with typical slots.

You could consider adding "mezzanine slot only" to the title or the OP. That might help others avoid the issue.

They are a good deal if you have a HP proliant Gen 8 or newer server.
